Process Gauge Radiation

About the Course

Process gauges are found in chemical plants, refineries, and steel mills, and are one of many sources of industrial radiation. Process gauges measure the density of liquids, solids, levels within a vessel, and the thickness of solid materials. While they serve a useful function, their radioactive sources present a potential health hazard if not handled properly with technical skills. Participants in this online training course will learn the uses of process gauges, along with the risks and safety compliance regulations associated with process gauges.
